The Centre for Defence and Security Studies (CDSS) is dedicated to promoting excellence in defence, security, and strategic studies through professional education, research, policy engagement, and knowledge exchange.

The Centre provides a platform for senior professionals and other stakeholders to deepen their understanding of contemporary defence and security issues, strategic leadership, national security, and the changing global security environment.

National Defence Course

The Centre runs the National Defence Course (NDC), a strategic-level programme designed to broaden participants' understanding of national, regional, and international defence and security issues.

The course provides an interdisciplinary platform for examining contemporary security challenges, strategic leadership, national interests, defence policy, international relations, and emerging threats.
